Job Description
Nexamp is seeking an experienced, licensed Electrician to conduct lifecycle maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of solar PV infrastructure, while ensuring safety and efficiency in operations. The role involves fieldwork in Massachusetts, requiring strong technical expertise in electrical systems and a commitment to the clean energy mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled field maintenance
- Perform electrical troubleshooting
- Identify and document faults and safety violations
- Maintain customer, partner, and subcontractor relationships
- Maintain Nexamp equipment and assigned PPE
- Sustain knowledge of emerging technologies and assist with process improvement
- Provide lifecycle maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of solar PV infrastructure
- Write maintenance reports and track cases
- Mitigate equipment underperformance
Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in electrical work.
- Electrical license in good standing required.
- Driver's license in good standing required.
- OSHA certification required.
- Ability to use ladders and work at heights.
- Possesses high level of understanding and technical expertise in all means and methods relating to PV commissioning, operation and troubleshooting.
- Fully understands principles and safe operation of grid-tied, commercial PV and ancillary electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications and procure materials and equipment when required.
