Job Description

The Civil Engineering Project Manager at Woodard Curran will oversee civil engineering projects for private and public clients, managing client relationships, project scope, schedule, and budget while leading a team in delivering high-quality site civil design and permitting services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and establish relationships with clients to manage civil engineering projects.
  • Lead the delivery of projects related to technical advice, planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services.
  • Prepare proposals, conduct project interviews, and engage in marketing activities for business development.
  • Manage and supervise project development utilizing technical and administrative staff.
  • Select, coordinate, and manage subcontractors, and estimate costs for project tasks.
  • Manage the scope, schedule, and budget for various project tasks.
  • Write reports and interact with project staff, clients, and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

  • Experience delivering high-quality site civil design and permitting services for projects across the firm's geography and core markets.
  • Ability to maintain and establish relationships with clients to procure and manage the scope, schedule, budget, and delivery of civil engineering projects.
  • Experience in providing technical advice, planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services for civil engineering projects.
  • Experience in managing and supervising projects developed utilizing technical and administrative staff.
  • Ability to lead and complete technical tasks as required to support the projects.
  • Experience in selecting, coordinating, and managing subcontractors.
  • Experience in estimating costs and managing the scope, schedule, and budget for various project tasks.
  • Ability to write reports and interact with project staff, clients, and regulatory agencies.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
