Job Description

The job involves leading the development of mobile and web applications, specifically focusing on enhancing capabilities for ArcGIS Field Maps. The role requires translating product roadmaps into actionable requirements, collaborating with users to understand their needs, and managing product backlogs in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives and feature teams for mobile and web app development
  • Translate product roadmap features into product requirements
  • Collaborate with users and clients to understand their needs
  • Identify and mitigate risks in product development
  • Prioritize backlog with product leads based on roadmap and feedback
  • Inform leadership on product vision, schedule, and strategy
  • Communicate with team members and stakeholders
  • Provide subject matter expertise on products and development initiatives
  • Support global product launches and release activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, computer science, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience with ArcGIS software or other geospatial technology
  • Experience configuring and deploying Esri's Field Apps
  • Proven ability to lead small to medium groups to deliver on business objectives with the power to inspire teamwork and motivate project teams
  • Customer-focused mindset for delivering a product that provides a great customer experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage product backlogs and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience assessing and prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Proficiency in using Agile project management tools
  • Deadline-oriented and capable of self-management
  • Passion and ability to deliver quality work in a timely and efficient manner, in teams or individually

Compensation/salary range: 92,144 - 152,152 USD
Minimum accrual of 80 hours of vacation leave
