Job Description
The QHSE Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing health, safety, and environmental policies for global field services, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a culture of safety and quality across engineering and construction projects within the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage Global Field Services HSE policies and procedures
- Ensure organizational compliance with legal and regulatory standards related to health, safety, and environment
- Collaborate with project managers, construction managers, and field teams to identify risks and improve safety, health, quality, and environmental practices
- Coordinate and maintain HSE management systems and documentation for the global field service team in the EMEA region
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor safety and environmental performance
- Plan and execute administrative tasks related to HSE management and reporting
Requirements
- Overseeing the development, implementation, and management of the Global Field Services Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Ensuring that the organisation complies with legal and regulatory standards related to health, safety, and environmental performance.
- Working closely with project managers, construction managers, and global field services teams to identify risks, ensure compliance, and improve practices related to safety, health, quality, and environmental performance.
- Developing, managing, and coordinating HSE management systems and documentation for the global field service team within the EMEA region.
- Possessing the ability to adapt and change plans at short notice, including weekends and evenings on occasion, to meet business requirements.
- Spending approximately 50% of work time on construction sites and 50% in the office for planning and administrative tasks, with flexibility for hybrid work arrangements.
- Demonstrating a passion to deliver complex engineering and construction projects worldwide.
- Having experience or knowledge in health, safety, and environmental management within engineering or construction projects (implied by the responsibilities, though specific years of experience are not explicitly stated).
