Job Description
A Corporate Paralegal supporting the legal department with contract management, document control, compliance, and corporate governance, while providing administrative support and coordinating legal processes within a dynamic corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the lifecycle of commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, and non-disclosure agreements.
- Maintain and organize the Legal Department's document repository, ensuring accurate versioning, secure access, and proper archiving of legal records.
- Identify opportunities to streamline legal workflows and implement best practices for operational efficiency.
- Review, edit, and draft routine legal documents in support of legal and corporate activities.
- Provide administrative and coordination support to attorneys, including liaising with internal clients and triaging legal requests.
- Assist with corporate legal matters such as preparing minutes, maintaining records, and handling corporate registrations and filings for domestic and international entities.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field, or paralegal education certification and/or related experience which may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple time-sensitive priorities with minimal oversight while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Requires excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with all levels of management, clients, in-house attorneys, outside counsel, government staff, and others outside of the organization.
- Requires strong analytical ability, critical thinking, problem solving, and research skills.
- High attention to detail, process discipline, and respect for confidentiality.
- Proficiency with contract lifecycle management systems or similar document control tools (preferred).
- Technologically proficient in Microsoft Office.
