Job Description
The Proposals Applications Engineer is responsible for developing and managing proposals related to rental and rapid response solutions in the combustion and environmental systems industry, supporting customer needs and ensuring technical accuracy and competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare proposals for rental and rapid response projects.
- Coordinate with engineering and sales teams to gather technical information for proposals.
- Ensure proposals meet client requirements, technical standards, and company policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in proposals and applications engineering related to rental and rapid response services, with a demonstrated ability to develop technical proposals and applications.
- Strong knowledge of combustion systems, environmental control systems, burners, and incinerators, and their application within industries such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, and power generation.
- Ability to analyze customer requirements and develop technical solutions that meet operational, safety, and environmental compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, sales teams, and internal engineering departments.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical field, or equivalent experience in a related industry.
- Experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting for combustion and environmental systems in a rental or rapid response context.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards relevant to combustion and environmental control systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple proposals and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Physical ability to perform site visits and inspections as required by the role.
