Job Description
The Drafter Instrumentation Controls is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and schematics for instrumentation and control systems used in combustion and environmental solutions across various industries. The role supports engineering projects by translating design concepts into precise documentation to ensure proper installation and functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed engineering drawings for instrumentation and control systems
- Develop and modify control system schematics and layouts
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Drafter specializing in Instrumentation Controls with a strong understanding of designing, engineering, and manufacturing advanced burners, incinerators, and environmental control systems.
- Ability to interpret and create detailed technical drawings and schematics for instrumentation and control systems used in combustion and environmental solutions.
- Experience working within industries such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, and power generation is preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using CAD software and other drafting tools relevant to instrumentation controls design.
- Strong technical knowledge of instrumentation and control system components, including sensors, actuators, controllers, and related equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting complex technical drawings.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams to ensure design specifications are met.
- Educational background in engineering, drafting, or a related technical field is required.
