Job Description
The Drilling Field Supervisor oversees the operation of a single geothermal drilling rig, managing the crew, ensuring safety and efficiency, and coordinating with engineering staff to execute drilling programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on-site drilling operations for a single rig
- Execute the approved drilling program
- Supervise the drilling crew
- Ensure safe and efficient progress each shift
- Work closely with the Drilling Superintendent and engineering staff
- Escalate issues as needed
- Provide accurate daily reports on drilling activities
Requirements
- The candidate must be the on-site lead for a single drilling rig, executing the approved drilling program, supervising the crew, and ensuring safe, efficient progress each shift.
- The candidate must work closely with the Drilling Superintendent and engineering staff, escalating issues and providing accurate daily reports.
- The position requires operating heavy machinery.
- The candidate must be willing to travel between 75% and 100% of the time.
- The candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment hair-follicle drug screening and background check.
