A full-time accounting role responsible for managing financial operations, preparing financial statements, developing budgets, and overseeing large-scale solar asset portfolios within a fast-growing renewable energy company.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all financial operations, including conducting monthly close and preparing financial statements
Develop budgets and analyze spend trends
Manage accounts payable and support annual audits
Address technical accounting issues and ensure compliance
Manipulate and analyze large datasets to support financial decision-making
Define and improve financial processes and internal controls
Oversee financial management of commercial-scale solar assets across multiple entities
Requirements
You are a CPA and have 3 to 7 years of relevant accounting experience.
Your background ideally contains a mix of corporate accounting, renewable energy, and financial services.
You enjoy working with large amounts of data and are proficient in Excel.
You have an auditor’s mindset, always eager to figure things out, and a proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
You are highly organized with exceptional organizational skills, the ability to juggle changing goals and priorities, and strong project management abilities.
You are detail-oriented, understanding the importance of accuracy, value reporting, and holding yourself to high standards when it comes to precision.
You are flexible and responsive, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to quickly adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
You thrive in a team-oriented environment, supporting teammates and contributing to a fast-paced, creative startup environment.
