Job Description

A full-time, in-office role in Boulder, CO, focused on optimizing sales operations, managing pipeline data, and supporting sales strategy to drive efficiency and growth within a renewable energy company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee pipeline operations and refine outbound targeting strategy to support sales growth
  • Manage and optimize CRM systems like Salesforce to ensure data accuracy and usability
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics to identify opportunities and improve sales effectiveness
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Transactions, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless customer lifecycle management
  • Guide outbound campaigns, prioritize market segments, and collaborate with BDRs to enhance outreach efforts
  • Support sales leadership with process development, data hygiene, and operational discipline

Requirements

  • Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in Sales, Sales Operations, Sales Strategy, or a similar role where they have worked closely with teams to increase effectiveness.
  • Experience managing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems like Salesforce.
  • Experience working with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Metabase, Looker, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Ability to translate messy pipelines into clean data and actionable insights.
  • Strong organizational skills with a Type-A personality, including building processes, tracking status, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Ability to keep the sales process and operations running smoothly and on time.
  • Ability to jump into client-facing conversations when needed, demonstrating confidence, articulation, and professionalism.
  • Experience guiding and optimizing outbound sales campaigns, including prioritizing market segments, assigning territories, collaborating with Business Development Representatives (BDRs), and using performance data to improve targeting.
  • High attention to detail, especially regarding data entry and maintenance in Salesforce, with the ability to notice and correct inaccuracies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams, including Transactions, Customer Success, and other departments, to ensure continuity across the customer lifecycle.
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to build processes independently, anticipate needs, set deadlines, and hold oneself accountable.
  • Alignment with the company's mission to support the energy transition and climate impact, demonstrating a genuine interest in building something meaningful.
  • Candidates must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the Boulder or Denver, Colorado area.
