Job Description

A full-time, in-office role based in Boulder, CO, focused on optimizing and managing the sales operations of a fast-growing solar energy company. The position involves overseeing pipeline performance, refining outbound strategies, and supporting cross-functional collaboration to enhance sales effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee pipeline operations and refine outbound targeting strategy to optimize sales efforts
  • Manage and improve CRM data hygiene, tracking performance metrics and ensuring data accuracy
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Transactions, and Customer Success teams to ensure continuity
  • Support sales leadership by identifying early sales opportunities through data analysis
  • Act as a client-facing representative when necessary, communicating professionally and confidently

Requirements

  • Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in Sales, Sales Operations, Sales Strategy, or a similar role where they have worked closely with teams to increase effectiveness.
  • Candidates must have managed Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems like Salesforce and worked with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Metabase, Looker, Tableau, etc., with the ability to translate messy pipelines into clean data and actionable insights.
  • Candidates must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to build processes, assign ownership, track status, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Candidates must be confident, articulate, and able to make a strong impression in client-facing conversations when needed.
  • Candidates must have experience guiding and optimizing outbound campaigns, including prioritizing market segments, assigning territories, collaborating with Business Development Representatives (BDRs), and using performance data to improve targeting.
  • Candidates must have a strong focus on data accuracy and process, caring about how data is entered in Salesforce and correcting issues as needed.
  • Candidates must be a team player with the ability to work cross-functionally and connect dots between teams such as Transactions, Customer Success, and Sales.
  • Candidates must be self-motivated, entrepreneurial, able to build processes proactively, anticipate needs, set deadlines, and hold themselves to a high standard.
  • Candidates must care deeply about the energy transition, climate impact, and building a meaningful company aligned with ESG and renewable energy goals.
  • Candidates must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the Boulder or Denver, Colorado area.

Salary range of $140,000 - $200,000 with up to 30% variable compensation
