Job Description

A sales-focused role supporting the deployment of solar energy solutions for commercial and industrial properties, involving market research, outreach, client engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to drive large-scale renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research properties, identify owners, and develop outreach strategies to engage potential clients.
  • Qualify outbound leads and conduct introductory meetings with decision makers.
  • Collaborate with sales, project development, and platform teams to understand market opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in CRM systems like Salesforce and Astra.
  • Build and support a pipeline of large-scale solar energy projects through targeted outreach and relationship building.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate with a solid internship or 1-2 years of sales experience.
  • Ability to research properties, uncover property owners, and investigate approaches to pitch them on solar energy.
  • Willingness to hop on the phone with potential clients and create email outreach campaigns to engage prospects.
  • Highly organized with the ability to update and maintain data in Salesforce and Astra, ensuring data fidelity.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, account management, project development, and platform teams to understand market landscape and opportunities.
  • Willingness to be located in or relocate to the Boulder or Denver, Colorado area.
  • Ability to react quickly and efficiently to dynamic challenges and changing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to articulate and implement solutions, streamlining processes to increase efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills for outreach, education, and decision support with clients and internal teams.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm and motivation to build a large-scale solar energy project pipeline and contribute to renewable energy deployment.

Salary range of $64,800 - $90,200 per year plus stock options
