Job Description
The Mechanic at Woodard Curran is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on large piping systems, tanks, valves, motors, pumps, and compressors at a water reuse facility, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on large diameter piping, tanks, rapid infiltration basins, valves, motors, pumps, and compressors.
- Conduct repairs on water treatment infrastructure and equipment.
- Locate underground utilities related to water treatment facilities.
- Operate trucks, cranes, cutting torches, and hand tools to support maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Possess the ability to perform preventative maintenance and repairs of large diameter piping, tanks, rapid infiltration basins, valves, motors, pumps, and compressors.
- Be responsible for locating underground utilities.
- Operate a truck, crane, cutting torches, and use hand tools as part of job duties.
- Availability to work on a schedule of Monday - Thursday, 7.00am - 5.30pm, consisting of four 10-hour work days.
