Job Description
The Energy Markets Manager oversees Voltus's distributed energy resources portfolio in the NYISO market, managing projects and stakeholder communications to optimize energy market opportunities in a remote, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Voltus's distributed energy resources (DER) portfolio in the NYISO market.
- Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders regarding market activities and DER performance.
- Oversee project management related to energy market participation and DER operations.
- Convert market and operational ambiguity into actionable strategies.
- Engage in market-facing activities to optimize DER value in energy markets.
Requirements
- Experience managing Voltus's growing distributed energy resources (DER) portfolio in the New York ISO (NYISO) market.
- Ability to engage in market-facing activities and hold meetings with coworkers and stakeholders during North America business hours.
- Authorization to work from your home location in the US or Canada, unless otherwise indicated on the role description.
- Ability to work remotely from anywhere within the US or Canada, with limitations on where employees are able to work for regulatory and security reasons.
- Working primarily from the employee's home country, with travel to other countries requiring approval as per the Global Remote Travel Policy.
