The Director of Enterprise Sales is responsible for leading and managing the outside sales team, driving complex sales cycles with enterprise customers in the distributed energy resources industry, and achieving aggressive sales targets to expand Voltus's platform connecting energy resources to markets.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the enterprise sales team to achieve sales targets
Drive complex sales cycles with enterprise customers
Develop and grow the team of Enterprise Sales Directors
Deliver on an aggressive sales plan and ensure team exceeds qualified booked meetings goals
Act as a player coach to support and develop sales team members
Requirements
Experience growing and directly managing an outside sales team, including leading and developing Enterprise Sales Directors.
Experience driving complex sales cycles with enterprise-class customers.
Ability to deliver on an aggressive sales plan and ensure the team exceeds its qualified booked meetings goal.
Subject matter expertise or strong interest in the demand response and distributed energy resources industry.
Must be based in the United States or Canada and authorized to work from their home location in these countries.
Willingness to travel as required for the role.
Ability to work primarily from their home country, with working while traveling to other countries being subject to approval as per the company's Global Remote Travel Policy.
