Job Description
The Corporate Counsel at Voltus will serve as an in-house technology attorney responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial and partnership agreements, assessing risks, and ensuring legal compliance in a fast-paced, remote environment focused on energy transition and climate change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial and partnership agreements
- Assess potential legal risks associated with agreements and activities
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience as an in-house technology attorney
- Passionate about combating climate change
- Self-starter with laser-focused attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial and partnership agreements
- Ability to assess potential risks associated with agreements and business activities
- Knowledge of and ability to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Reside in the United States and be authorized to work in the United States
- Candidates must not require visa sponsorship or transfers for employment
- Work primarily from their home country in the US or Canada, with travel approved according to company policy
