Job Description
A Tax Technology Automation Specialist supporting digital transformation within a CPA firm's tax practice by identifying automation opportunities, gathering requirements, and delivering reporting solutions to improve efficiency through collaboration with tax professionals and leveraging technology and AI platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Support digital transformation initiatives within the tax practice.
- Identify opportunities and gather requirements for automation and reporting solutions.
- Develop and deliver practical automation and reporting solutions to improve efficiency.
- Bridge communication between tax professionals, firm leadership, and technology teams.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects related to tax workflows, time, and billing data.
- Leverage generative AI platforms to enhance tax processes.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills necessary to collaborate effectively with tax professionals, firm leadership, and technology teams.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects simultaneously.
- Working knowledge of tax firm workflows, including understanding of time and billing data.
- Familiarity with generative AI platforms.
- Curiosity, organization, and fluency in the language of both tax and technology.
- Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives within a tax or accounting firm environment.
- Understanding of automation and reporting solutions that improve efficiency in a professional services setting.
