Job Description
The Messaging Operations Manager supports the Revenue Operations team by managing vendor negotiations, pricing strategies, and deal execution for messaging and WhatsApp products, while driving process improvements and ensuring compliance to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead pricing checks and negotiate special pricing with SMS and WhatsApp vendors
- Secure competitive vendor pricing to ensure profitability and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with sales team on pricing, deal structuring, and contract terms
- Manage vendor relationships to maintain favorable terms and high service levels
- Support deal execution by ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Assist in onboarding new sales reps and provide training on quoting tools and CRM systems
- Implement and manage dashboards to monitor deal performance, pricing efficiency, and vendor relationships
- Drive process improvements to enhance team scalability and efficiency
- Analyze market trends and provide insights on SMS and WhatsApp pricing dynamics
Requirements
- 2-8 years of experience in deal desk operations, pricing, or related areas.
- Strong negotiation and people skills with a proven track record of vendor management.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and quoting tools.
- Experience with messaging and WhatsApp products is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, capable of managing tight deadlines.
