An Application Engineer - Estimator at Zeeco is responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals, analyzing projects, managing contracts, and supporting sales efforts within the oil and gas industry, while collaborating with teams and maintaining client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare technical and commercial proposals and budgets for customers
Send relevant proposal information to the head office
Identify labor needs and analyze proposals and projects
Follow up on customer portals for potential requests for proposals
Translate documents electronically as needed
Control and monitor contract and order approvals with involved parties
Prepare reports on proposals, follow-ups, sales, or cancellations
Maintain and update project and proposal databases
Requirements
Technical level or higher engineering qualification (preferred).
At least 2 years of experience in the area.
Knowledge of the oil and gas market and processes.
Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of Petrobras standards.
Availability for national and international travel.
Intermediate advanced English writing and conversation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Tax knowledge including ICMS, PIS, COFINS, ISS, etc.
Knowledge of NCM (Nomenclature of Customs Classification of Goods).
Knowledge of INCOTERMS.
Knowledge of ERP SAP B1.
