Job Description

The E-mail Deliverability Specialist is responsible for optimizing email delivery and ensuring high deliverability rates to support the company's marketing and customer engagement efforts within a leading B2B SaaS organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and optimize email deliverability rates to ensure successful email delivery.
  • Analyze email performance metrics to identify and resolve deliverability issues.
  • Implement best practices for email authentication, spam compliance, and sender reputation management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in email deliverability, email infrastructure, or related roles, with a clear understanding of email deliverability best practices and technical aspects.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and troubleshoot email deliverability issues, including identifying and resolving spam filtering, blacklisting, and sender reputation problems.
  • Knowledge of email authentication protocols such as SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and their implementation to improve email deliverability.
  • Experience working with email service providers (ESPs) and email marketing platforms, including configuring and optimizing sending practices.
  • Strong understanding of email deliverability metrics, including bounce rates, open rates, click-through rates, and spam complaint rates, and ability to interpret and act on these metrics.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies to improve email deliverability and sender reputation over time.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams and to document deliverability processes and issues clearly.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks related to email infrastructure management, if applicable (not explicitly specified but implied by technical nature).
