Job Description
The Energy Analyst supports natural gas and electricity data analysis within Edison’s Data Settlement Services team, focusing on process efficiency, accuracy, and client service delivery in the energy supply management sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide analytical support to natural gas and electricity energy managers.
- Develop and standardize processes to improve efficiency in client service delivery.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism in data management and analysis.
- Assist in energy supply management, data management, and energy optimization initiatives.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues or risks affecting clients' energy operations.
Requirements
- Experience providing analytical support to natural gas and electricity energy managers in an energy supply advisory service line.
- Ability to perform process development and standardization to improve efficiencies in client service delivery while maintaining high levels of accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism.
- Demonstrated initiative to properly and effectively take independent action.
- Strong internal and external communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Job knowledge and experience relevant to energy supply management, data management, energy optimization, electrification, clean energy, or sustainability.
- Ability to proactively identify and avoid negative issues or risks for clients' companies and reactively resolve issues or risks with reduced or zero negative impact.
- Deliver high-quality work with professionalism.
- Possession of the necessary education, skills, and experience to perform the role at a mid-level position within Edison’s Data Settlement Services team.
