The Field Construction Inspector performs onsite visual inspections of solar and electric vehicle installations, ensuring quality and compliance with design specifications, while managing multiple projects and traveling frequently across regions.
Key Responsibilities
Perform onsite visual inspections of solar photovoltaic (PV) and electric vehicle (EV) installations.
Validate that onsite PV and EV system components and design parameters align with design documents and criteria.
Prepare accurate and timely inspection reports and track project progress.
Manage multiple field construction projects concurrently.
Travel approximately 50% to client sites across the North East and Midwest for inspections.
Work outside normal business hours, including weekends and holidays, to witness shutdowns.
Requirements
Perform onsite visual inspections of solar photovoltaic (PV) and electric vehicle (EV) installations throughout the North East and the Midwest for Trio's projects.
Travel approximately 50% of each workweek to client sites for onsite inspections.
Work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, and after 5:00 pm, to witness shutdowns as necessary.
Validate that onsite PV and EV system components and design parameters align with design documents and criteria.
Provide advice and quality assurance for Trio clients during inspections.
Prepare accurate and efficient follow-up reports in a timely manner.
Manage multiple Field Construction projects concurrently.
Be self-motivated and highly organized to adapt to various situations including customer engagement, visual quality control, and project tracking.
