Job Description
The Senior Project Manager PE, Civil - Transportation leads the design and planning of transportation infrastructure projects, including highways, bridges, and multimodal systems, while supporting business development and client relations in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of transportation infrastructure projects including highway, traffic, bridge, and roadway systems.
- Provide comprehensive services to clients such as transportation planning, geometric layouts, and preliminary and final engineering design.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop marketing plans, cultivate client and agency relationships, and track project opportunities.
- Develop proposals and deliver presentations to clients.
- Support business development efforts through a Seller-Doer approach.
Requirements
- Must hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil Engineering.
- Must have experience leading transportation infrastructure projects, including designing complex, safe, and efficient systems.
- Must have experience providing a full range of services such as sustainable transportation planning, geometric layouts, multimodal planning, preliminary engineering, and final design.
- Must have expertise in at least one of the following areas: highway, traffic, bridge, or roadway design.
- Must have experience supporting a growing portfolio of transportation projects in the Milwaukee region.
- Must have experience collaborating with senior leaders, clients, and agency representatives to develop marketing plans, cultivate and maintain client relations, track prospective opportunities, develop proposals, and deliver client presentations.
- Must be able to complete a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
