Job Description
The Senior Engineer Project Manager in Traffic leads the design and management of transportation infrastructure projects, collaborates on business development efforts, and contributes to community improvements within a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of complex transportation infrastructure projects to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Manage project execution, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with the Traffic and Planning Group Manager and Vice President to develop marketing strategies and proposals.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and agency representatives.
- Track prospective project opportunities and deliver client presentations.
Requirements
- Experience in leading projects for designing complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure systems.
- Ability to collaborate with the Traffic and Planning Group Manager and the Vice President of Surface Transportation Engineering to develop marketing plans, cultivate and maintain relations with clients and agency representatives, track prospective opportunities, develop proposals, and deliver client presentations.
- Proven experience in project management within transportation or related engineering fields.
- Educational background sufficient to qualify as a Senior Professional Engineer Project Manager, typically requiring a Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent (implied by the title and responsibilities).
- Ability to work in a hybrid work environment, with in-office presence Tuesday through Thursday and remote work Monday and Friday.
- Completion of a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
