Job Description
The Senior Engineer Project Manager in Traffic leads the design and management of transportation infrastructure projects, oversees business development activities, and collaborates with team members to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective transportation solutions in the Greater Milwaukee area.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure projects in the Greater Milwaukee market.
- Collaborate with the Traffic and Planning Group Manager and Vice President to develop marketing plans and enhance service offerings.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and agency representatives.
- Track prospective business opportunities and develop proposals.
- Deliver client presentations related to transportation projects.
- Ensure projects are optimized for cost efficiency and risk mitigation.
Requirements
- Experience leading projects for designing complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure systems.
- Ability to collaborate with the Traffic and Planning Group Manager and the Vice President of Surface Transportation Engineering to develop marketing plans, cultivate and maintain relations with clients and agency representatives, track prospective opportunities, develop proposals, and deliver client presentations.
- Proven track record in business development activities related to transportation engineering projects.
- Strong leadership skills to lead projects in the Greater Milwaukee market.
- Ability to work in a hybrid work environment with in-office presence on Monday and Friday and WFH on Tuesday through Thursday.
- Educational background in engineering or a related field (implied by the position of Senior Professional Engineer Project Manager).
- Successful completion of a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
