Job Description
The Regional Vice President, Public Sector is responsible for driving growth and managing sales within public sector organizations, including government and educational institutions, by developing new business, navigating complex procurement processes, and delivering cost-effective healthcare solutions through Sword Health’s AI-powered platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage a mid-market territory within public sector organizations with 5,000-10,000 employees.
- Source, develop, and close new business opportunities within state and local government, public higher education, K-12 districts, and quasi-public entities.
- Navigate complex procurement and contracting cycles involving multi-stakeholder buying groups.
- Achieve sales quotas by delivering solutions that provide cost savings, clinical outcomes, and ROI through Sword’s digital MSK and Care solutions.
Requirements
- Experience in sourcing, developing, and closing new business within public sector organizations such as state and local government, public higher education, K-12 districts, and quasi-public entities.
- Strong public-sector expertise and comfort with multi-stakeholder buying groups.
- Ability to navigate complex procurement and contracting cycles in the public sector.
- Proven track record in achieving sales quotas in a quota-carrying, individual-contributor role.
- Experience working with organizations that have 5,000 to 10,000 employees.
- Ability to own a mid-market territory and accelerate growth within that territory.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable clinical outcomes and ROI through digital health solutions.
- Legal right to work in the United States; immigration or work visa sponsorship will not be provided.
- Full-time employment status with regular work hours of at least 25 hours per week.
