Job Description
A Senior Mechanical Engineer responsible for end-to-end mechanical development of proprietary solar equipment, ensuring designs are safe, reliable, scalable, and suitable for industrial deployment, while collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners to transition from concept to commercial-ready systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical development of proprietary equipment from concept to commercial-ready systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure mechanical designs are safe, reliable, scalable, and suitable for industrial deployment.
- Contribute to system integration, validation, and on-site commissioning of mechanical components and systems.
- Take ownership of mechanical subsystems, solving complex engineering problems to ensure seamless translation from lab to customer-ready tools.
Requirements
- Experience in end-to-end mechanical development of proprietary equipment, including system integration, validation, and on-site commissioning, with the ability to translate mechanical designs from lab and pilot environments into customer-ready tools.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of mechanical subsystems and contribute to the delivery of first-of-kind equipment at scale.
- Strong technical background suitable for a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex problems related to mechanical systems.
- Ability to work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver equipment that is safe, reliable, scalable, and ready for industrial deployment.
- Experience working within a team of engineers, scientists, operators, and builders in a collaborative environment that values first principles and iterative development.
