The Plant and Equipment Maintenance Lead is responsible for maintaining and repairing facility equipment, supporting installations and upgrades, and ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient working environment in a high-tech solar manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain facility equipment and services to ensure safety, compliance, and operational readiness
Perform practical, hands-on tasks including repairs, small rig builds, and clean room maintenance
Support installation, modification, and relocation of facility equipment
Coordinate with external contractors and support safe chemical disposal
Operate machinery, prototype equipment, and building services such as exhaust and air-conditioning systems
Manage goods storage and support site operations to ensure efficiency
Requirements
Experience or understanding of how a facility with diverse production equipment, fabrication areas, and warehouse operations functions.
Comfortable working directly with machinery, prototype equipment, and building services.
Ability to carry out practical, hands-on tasks including basic repairs, small rig builds, and clean room maintenance such as exhaust and air-conditioning systems.
Proficiency in forklift operation.
Ability to perform minor plumbing and electrical work.
Experience in managing goods storage.
Support in the installation, modification, and relocation of facility equipment.
Ability to coordinate with external contractors.
Support safe chemical disposal procedures.
Ownership of maintaining facility equipment and services to ensure a safe, compliant, and operational environment.
Willingness to perform a wide range of practical, hands-on tasks across the site.
