Job Description
A Mechatronics Engineer at SunDrive will design, develop, and integrate software, firmware, and electronics to support automated production and laboratory systems, playing a key role in scaling innovative copper-plating solar technology from prototype to industrial deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate software, firmware, and electronics for automated production and laboratory systems.
- Scale copper-plating technology from prototype to industrial deployment.
- Work with embedded systems, Linux SBCs, custom PCBs, automation equipment, and industrial communication networks to create robust, production-ready systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and global partners to deploy technology into manufacturing environments.
Requirements
- Design, develop, and integrate the software, firmware, and electronics that power automated production and laboratory systems at SunDrive.
- Work across embedded systems, Linux single-board computers (SBCs), custom printed circuit boards (PCBs), automation equipment, and industrial communication networks to build robust, production-ready systems.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams and global partners, particularly in China, as the technology is deployed into real manufacturing environments.
- Experience in scaling copper-plating technology from prototype to industrial deployment within a manufacturing setting.
- Full working rights in Australia; the candidate must be legally authorized to work in Australia without visa sponsorship, as SunDrive cannot offer visa sponsorship for this position.
