Job Description
The Trade Support - Contract Specialist supports environmental commodity trading operations by drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts, ensuring accurate records, and enhancing process efficiency through automation, primarily within a commodity trading environment focused on decarbonization strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts related to environmental certificates and physical trades.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to manage the contract lifecycle from initiation to completion.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records.
- Support automation projects to improve team efficiency using tools like Microsoft SharePoint, Power Automate, and Copilot.
- Develop a strong understanding of the operational and contractual aspects of environmental commodity trading.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Law.
- At least 2 years of experience in contract management or negotiation in a commodity trading environment, including knowledge of commodity trading terms and conditions.
- Fluent in English.
- Currently living in the Netherlands.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
