Job Description
This role involves leading and managing the physical operations of biofuels trading, including deal execution, logistics, and stakeholder coordination, while providing team leadership and ensuring operational efficiency and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day physical operations for FAME and HVO, expanding to all feedstocks and biofuels
- Oversee full deal execution, including contract terms, settlements, cargo planning, and documentation
- Manage supply planning, stock forecasting, and communication with traders and stakeholders
- Maintain relationships with surveyors, terminals, and logistics partners
- Prepare management reports, KPIs, and budget updates
- Drive continuous improvement and risk mitigation in operations
- Provide team leadership, coaching, workload coordination, and performance management
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of experience in liquid bulk or biofuels operations, ideally in a trading environment.
- Strong expertise in physical deal execution, logistics coordination, EFP processes, and cargo documentation.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a team while remaining hands-on.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High sense of ownership, reliability, and accountability.
- Fluent in English.
