Job Description
This role involves designing and implementing scalable, resilient core systems in a full-stack environment, collaborating across teams to develop innovative solutions, and providing architectural leadership within a fintech or B2B SaaS company.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design core systems ensuring they are scalable and maintainable
- Assist with implementation and guide service teams through technical decisions
- Create resilient, future-proof system designs by making strategic trade-offs
- Translate ambiguous ideas into clear technical concepts across teams
- Work across the full technology stack, including infrastructure as code and data engineering
- Collaborate with business units such as Trading, Legal, Risk, and Operations to develop solutions
- Mentor team members, establish architectural standards, and incorporate emerging technologies
Requirements
- 10 years in software development within product-led companies, ideally in fintech or B2B SaaS at scale
- Strong in TypeScript for modern frontend development, with solid backend experience in Python and Node.js
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS, serverless architectures, and Infrastructure-as-Code using CDK and Terraform
- Experience with event-driven systems such as Kinesis and Kafka
- Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes
- Proven track record in architectural leadership, defining standards, and mentoring teams
- Strong systems thinking, excellent communication skills, and ability to operate effectively in ambiguity
