Job Description
A Senior PPA Advisor role focused on originating, structuring, and managing renewable energy Power Purchase Agreements and related energy contracts, working closely with corporate clients and internal teams to develop tailored decarbonization solutions in the US market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead origination and structuring of renewable energy PPAs and long-term offtake agreements.
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline of qualified corporate PPA opportunities from lead generation through contract execution.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to corporate clients, understanding their sustainability goals, energy needs, risk tolerance, and financial priorities.
- Collaborate with trading, risk, legal, and sustainability teams to design integrated client solutions aligned with environmental commodity strategies.
- Conduct market and policy analysis to inform product development, client recommendations, and strategic positioning.
- Support the development of STX's renewable power offerings to corporate clients, including BESS and emerging innovations.
- Represent STX Group at industry events, client meetings, and strategic forums to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.
Requirements
- 6 to 10 years of experience in renewable energy PPAs, energy markets, structured sales, or energy commodity origination.
- Proven track record of developing and closing PPA transactions or complex structured energy deals.
- Strong understanding of US power markets, renewable energy technologies, and corporate decarbonization challenges.
- Experience in leading origination and structuring of renewable energy PPAs, including corporate and utility-scale and related long-term offtake agreements.
- Ability to develop and manage a sales pipeline of qualified corporate PPA opportunities from lead generation through contract execution.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills when engaging with senior corporate stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, globally distributed team.
