Job Description
This role involves supporting the finance team with core accounting activities such as invoice processing, reconciliations, and assisting with month-end and audit processes, providing an opportunity for early-career professionals to develop technical skills in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase invoices and expense reports according to procedures
- Handle payment and bank transactions and perform daily bank reconciliations
- Conduct monthly reconciliations between the General Ledger and Subledger
- Support month-end and year-end financial operations, including audits
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within financial administrative tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in the areas of Finance and Accounting or equivalent certification
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience
- Fluent English speaking skills
- Good understanding of the accounting principles
- Enthusiastic and critical person with the ability to work autonomously
- Proactive, hands-on, innovative, and able to demonstrate excellent analytical skills
- Ability to process purchase invoices and expense reports according to existing procedures
- Ability to process payment and bank transactions and perform daily reconciliations of bank statements and cash flow overviews
- Ability to perform monthly reconciliations between the General Ledger and the Subledger, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Ability to support the Finance team with day-to-day, monthly, and year-end operations of the finance department, including audits
- Willingness to identify possibilities for improvement and procedures within the financial administrative organization
