Job Description
A Senior Platform Engineer responsible for designing, automating, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and AI-driven development tools to support trading and decarbonization strategies across global offices, with a focus on automation, security, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, automate, and evolve cloud infrastructure and systems to support trading, risk, and decarbonization initiatives.
- Promote adoption of AI-assisted workflows and develop tools to automate processes and enhance human creativity.
- Enhance citizen development platforms for scalable and secure automation by trading and front-office teams.
- Maintain and optimize secure, scalable cloud environments across Azure and AWS.
- Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling to increase operational efficiency.
- Implement security monitoring, alerting, and resilience frameworks for cloud and infrastructure security.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 6 - 8 years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE with hands-on experience managing Azure and AWS cloud environments.
- Proven experience managing production Kubernetes clusters and hybrid connectivity.
- Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages for automation, tooling, and infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, CDK, or similar, and experience building robust CI/CD pipelines.
- Proactive, systems-thinking engineering mindset with strong troubleshooting skills and a focus on operational excellence.
- Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively across distributed teams and balance autonomy with transparency.
- Living in the Netherlands.
