Job Description
A Senior Platform Engineer responsible for designing, automating, and evolving cloud-based systems to support AI-driven development, infrastructure automation, and decarbonization strategies across global offices, with a focus on security, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, automate, and evolve cloud infrastructure and systems to support trading, risk, and decarbonization initiatives.
- Promote adoption of AI-assisted workflows and develop AI-driven tools to enhance automation and productivity.
- Enhance citizen development platforms for secure, scalable automation by trading and front-office teams.
- Maintain and optimize cloud environments on Azure and AWS, ensuring security and scalability.
- Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling to increase operational efficiency.
- Implement security monitoring, alerting, and resilience frameworks for cloud and infrastructure security.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve technical challenges.
Requirements
- 6 - 8 years of hands-on experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Experience with managing production Kubernetes clusters and hybrid connectivity.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or similar for automation, tooling, and infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Cloud Development Kit (CDK), or similar, and experience building robust CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to design, maintain, and optimize secure, scalable cloud environments across Azure and AWS.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive, systems-thinking engineering mindset focused on operational excellence.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across distributed teams and balance autonomy with transparency.
- Living in the Netherlands (implied requirement for residence or work authorization in the Netherlands).
