Job Description
A Senior Platform Engineer responsible for designing, automating, and evolving cloud-based systems to support AI-driven development, infrastructure automation, and secure scalable environments across multiple regions, enabling efficient trading and decarbonization strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, automate, and evolve cloud infrastructure and systems to support trading, risk, and decarbonization initiatives.
- Promote adoption of AI-assisted workflows and tools to enhance automation and efficiency.
- Enhance citizen development platforms for scalable and secure automation by trading and front-office teams.
- Maintain and optimize cloud environments across Azure and AWS for security and scalability.
- Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and develop automation tooling to increase operational efficiency.
- Implement security monitoring, alerting, and resilience frameworks for cloud and infrastructure security.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 6 - 8 years of hands-on experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Experience with managing production Kubernetes clusters and hybrid connectivity.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or similar for automation, tooling, and infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Cloud Development Kit (CDK), or similar, and experience building robust CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to design, maintain, and optimize secure, scalable cloud environments across Azure and AWS.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and an engineering mindset with a focus on operational excellence.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across distributed teams.
