Job Description
The Corporate Account Manager at STRIVE is responsible for expanding the customer portfolio in the Iberian region by engaging with prospective clients, understanding their decarbonization needs, and offering tailored sustainable solutions to support their environmental and decarbonization strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Expand customer portfolio in the Iberian region through strategic engagement with prospective clients.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships via in-person meetings and activities.
- Execute transactions across various regions and products, structuring complex deals using financial instruments.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including technical product experts and policy teams, for effective coordination.
- Stay informed about regulatory and legislative developments in the designated region.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience, ideally in the areas of sales, trading, finance, banking, business development, or account management, including exposure to or experience in renewable energy or environmental commodities markets.
- Master's degree in one of the aforementioned relevant disciplines.
- Profound feel for commercial transactions and deals, with the ability to think creatively and demonstrate an entrepreneurial mentality, including the ability to identify opportunities at an early stage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and work effectively in an intense team environment, and to build direct working relationships.
- Fluency in English and Spanish in writing and speech.
- Flexibility to travel often and willingness to relocate or live in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
