A Senior Solar Project Manager responsible for leading and managing a portfolio of commercial solar PV projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring successful project delivery, safety, quality, and budget adherence while mentoring project teams and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee a portfolio of commercial solar PV projects throughout their full lifecycle
Ensure successful project execution on time, within budget, and according to safety and quality standards
Mentor and develop Project Managers to promote consistency and best practices
Partner with Engineering, Construction, Safety, Procurement, Finance, and external stakeholders to coordinate project delivery
Maintain accountability for portfolio-level budget, schedule, safety, quality, and risk management
Requirements
Experience leading and overseeing a portfolio of commercial solar PV projects across their full lifecycle.
Ability to successfully execute individual projects and mentor and develop Project Managers.
Experience driving consistency and best practices across multiple projects.
Full accountability for portfolio-level budget, schedule, safety, quality, and risk management.
Partnering closely with Engineering, Construction, Safety, Procurement, Finance, and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within approved financial targets.
Based in the Illinois Greater Chicago area or willing to relocate with assistance.
Proven track record of delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget in the solar or related renewable energy industry.
