Job Description
The Senior Manager, People Operations, oversees daily HR functions including compliance, benefits, employee relations, and immigration programs, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to employment laws to support the company's growth and organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily functions of the People Operations Team, ensuring compliance and employee support
- Administer core people programs including benefits, leave administration, and immigration
- Develop and implement People Operations strategies to support business needs
- Manage employee relations, performance management, and compliance programs
- Handle initial employment inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors
- Hire, coach, and support talent development through feedback and recognition
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in People Operations or as an HR Generalist, with at least 5 years of direct supervisory or management experience.
- Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws including California and Washington.
- Experience developing clear, effective People policies and employee handbooks.
- Strong expertise in managing complex People Operations programs, including employee benefits, leave administration (LOA), workers compensation, and US immigration.
- Demonstrated proficiency with HRIS and ATS systems like ADP WorkforceNow and Greenhouse, or the ability to quickly learn new software.
- Exceptional organizational, conflict resolution, and written verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $161,000 to $204,000
