Job Description
The Senior Finance ERP Consultant will support and optimize financial processes within Sage X3, focusing on cost accounting, stock reconciliation, and system process ownership, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Inventory and Cost accounts to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Manage standard cost exceptions, variances, and related analysis
- Maintain and validate Bill of Material and Routing cost structures
- Reconcile inventory and WIP accounts with the general ledger
- Maintain costing-related master data in Sage X3
- Act as Finance functional owner for Sage ERP, mapping accounting functions to system capabilities
- Liaise with Data Systems team on finance-related projects and testing
- Define and maintain chart of accounts, dimensions, and reporting structures
- Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, and Commercial teams to align financial processes
- Train and support finance users on Sage X3 processes and best practices
- Maintain process documentation for business continuity and system knowledge
Requirements
- Deep functional expertise in Sage X3 Finance modules.
- Strong experience in Cost Accounting and Stock Reconciliation.
- Ability to work as an embedded member of the Finance team, collaborating closely with IT and Operations.
