Job Description

A senior project controls leader responsible for enhancing the delivery of complex construction projects through strategic planning, scalable solutions, and team development, with a focus on improving efficiency and impact within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the controls for cost, schedule, change, and risk on projects to enable accurate decision-making.
  • Maximize the development of team members and educate clients to improve project delivery.
  • Develop scalable and repeatable best practices, tools, and solutions in collaboration with the team.
  • Provide simple, actionable reports to stakeholders to support efficient project execution.
  • Ensure the project’s understanding and focus on the plan, contributing to successful project outcomes.

Requirements

  • A construction engineering background.
  • Solid capability in the control of cost, schedule, and change, along with deep experience in developing project controls processes and reporting that align with strategic objectives and broader project context.
  • Excellent communication skills, including charisma, presence, and influence to engage construction teams, drive adoption of new approaches, and promote best practices across the board.
  • Proven leadership capabilities as a leader, coach, and developer of teams, capable of guiding others and building high-performing planning and controls functions.
  • A strong track record of implementing scalable, repeatable solutions that created significant positive impact across complex projects.
