Job Description

The role involves leading the deployment of advanced project controls systems, particularly Oracle Primavera Cloud and Unifier, to enhance the delivery of complex construction projects. It combines technical configuration, process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and team development to streamline operations and improve project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Own and drive the system implementation plan, including configuration and adoption of Oracle project controls systems.
Design and configure scalable, optimized solutions on Oracle systems leveraging planning and project controls expertise.
Engage stakeholders to ensure successful deployment of technical solutions, processes, and tools that improve user experience.
Create and deliver simple, actionable reports to stakeholders to enhance project delivery efficiency.
Develop and mentor team members and educate clients to improve their understanding and use of project control systems.

Requirements

Experience deploying Oracle Systems in the construction industry, combined with experience in planning in Primavera P6.
Proficient communicator in written and verbal English, with the ability to convey messages with clarity, motivate teams, and lead meetings effectively.
Kind and empathetic active listener, capable of giving and receiving constructive feedback.
Proactively take ownership of tasks, inspire others through thoughtful questions, and challenge the team to think critically and stay on track.
A track record of making projects and organizations better beyond just doing the basics.
Willingness to learn and dive into training and user manuals to find answers related to Oracle Primavera Cloud OPC, Primavera Unifier, and other relevant platforms.
Ability to configure and deploy flagship Oracle systems leveraging planning and project controls expertise.
Strong communication skills to keep people engaged and aligned with a shared vision.
Eagerness to develop personally and professionally, with a positive attitude and drive.
Ability to adapt to shifting focus from Oracle systems implementation to planning and project controls as needed.
Experience in managing or supporting the deployment of project controls systems in complex projects is preferred.
Experience with platforms such as Oracle Aconex, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Oracle Fusion ERP is a valuable asset.
Ability to work effectively in dynamic, hands-on environments involving complex projects such as data centres, infrastructure, high-tech manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, or complex building projects.
Willingness to work in various locations including site visits, client meetings, and possibly international travel to Europe or the Middle East.
Commitment to documenting solutions and contributing to a knowledge repository for industry-wide use.
