Job Description
A senior engineering role responsible for designing and expanding behind-the-meter microgrids, gas-fired power plants, and solar storage systems for data centers, combining technical expertise with commercial leadership to develop resilient and decarbonized energy infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and engineering of behind-the-meter microgrids, gas-fired power plants, and solar storage systems for data centers
- Drive the expansion of data center power solutions
- Build trusted partnerships within the energy infrastructure sector
Requirements
- Oversee the design and engineering of behind-the-meter BTM, or off-grid microgrids, gas-fired power plants, and solar storage systems for hyperscale and colocation data centers.
- Possess strong technical skills related to microgrid systems, power plants, and renewable energy storage solutions.
- Demonstrate commercial leadership capabilities in the energy infrastructure sector.
- Have a builder's mindset with the ability to drive expansion of data center power solutions.
- Be able to build trusted partnerships with stakeholders and clients.
- Have the ability to ensure that the company's energy infrastructure remains at the forefront of decarbonized, resilient, and scalable energy solutions for mission-critical facilities.
- Be willing to work remotely with a preference for candidates located in NY, CT, NJ, MA, CA, VA, CO, or TX.
- Have experience in the design, engineering, or management of microgrid or distributed energy systems (implied by overseeing design and engineering of such systems).
