Job Description
A senior engineering leadership role focused on designing, developing, and maintaining SCADA systems and control architectures for microgrids, power plants, and data center operations to ensure high reliability, uptime, and visibility of complex electrical power systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation and control architecture for power systems in data centers and microgrids.
- Apply expertise in SCADA and networking system design to ensure system uptime and visibility.
- Support the development and integration of behind-the-meter microgrids, off-grid systems, and renewable energy projects.
- Shape and optimize control systems for mission-critical power infrastructure.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of electrical infrastructure, power automation, networks, and control systems to support the development of behind-the-meter BTM or off-grid microgrids, gas-fired power plants, and solar-plus-storage systems across hyperscale and colocation data centers.
- Expertise in shaping automation and control architecture that underpins mission-critical data center operations.
- Proficiency in SCADA system design and operation to ensure unparalleled uptime and visibility across complex power systems.
- Ability to apply knowledge of networking system design and operation related to SCADA and power automation systems.
- Experience supporting or leading projects involving microgrids, power plants, or renewable energy systems such as solar-plus-storage.
- Demonstrated leadership or senior-level experience in SCADA engineering or related fields.
- Physical or mental capacity to work in a hybrid or remote environment as required by the role (implied by the possibility of remote work, though not explicitly quantified).
