Job Description
The role involves managing logistics, procurement, and financial oversight of owner-furnished equipment for large-scale renewable energy and data center projects, ensuring timely delivery, contractual compliance, and cost control within a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of Owner Furnished Equipment logistics from OEM factories to project sites or storage facilities.
- Administer supply contracts and manage procurement requests, purchase orders, and payment schedules across teams.
- Verify equipment specifications and ensure compliance with domestic content requirements and contractual obligations.
- Coordinate complex logistics operations including intermodal transfers, drayage, and warehousing, while tracking costs and mitigating delays.
- Serve as the primary liaison between OEMs, freight forwarders, and construction teams regarding delivery, offloading, and site readiness.
- Manage cargo insurance policies and resolve freight claims, warranty issues, or equipment damages.
- Validate billing and financial controls by reconciling reports with contractual milestones and supporting timely payments.
Requirements
- Three years of logistics management experience as a developer managing large-scale construction projects.
- Experience with procurement contracts for owner furnished equipment and an understanding of how contracts align with construction contracts.
- Strong working knowledge of domestic content, contract administration, procure-to-pay lifecycle and software, commercial risk allocation, and claims dispute management.
- Proficiency with Excel, document control software, Work OS software (e.g., Monday.com), and Business Spend Management software.
- Exceptional organizational, negotiation, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communications skills.
- Adept at managing multiple simultaneous priorities, deadlines, and high-value contracts in a fast-paced development environment.
- Experience with the full project lifecycle, from initial RFP through construction and close-out, for hyperscale or colocation data center assets.
