Job Description
The Associate Senior Manager in Capital Markets at SB Energy supports the execution of financing transactions for energy infrastructure projects, including financial modeling, due diligence, deal documentation, and relationship management, with opportunities for leadership and process improvement in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of financing transactions including project finance debt, bonds, and corporate debt.
- Conduct financial modeling, analysis, and due diligence for deal teams.
- Assist in negotiating transaction documentation and overcoming issues to drive financial close.
- Build and maintain relationships with external capital providers and internal teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as M&A, FP&A, project development, procurement, construction, and operations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of company processes and uphold business ethics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 3-10 years of experience working at a leading sponsor, investor lender, or advisor in data centers, power infrastructure, or real estate with direct capital markets experience including project finance, leveraged finance, project bonds, or CMBS.
- Data center experience in an analytically rigorous environment is strongly preferred.
- Transaction experience in project finance debt is required; experience in project finance debt is preferred.
- Expertise in MS Excel.
- Ownership mentality and comfort with communicating ideas and taking initiative.
- Self-motivated to produce high quality work.
- Avid learner.
- Location in the San Francisco Bay Area (Headquarters in Redwood City, CA), or hybrid in San Diego, CA, or Denver, CO, or the New York Area.

Compensation/salary range: $110,000 - $165,000 with potential discretionary annual bonus
