Job Description
The CSA Lead is responsible for overseeing the design, coordination, and delivery of civil, structural, and architectural systems in data center construction projects, ensuring they meet performance, durability, and scalability requirements while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage CSA scope from construction through project closeout.
- Coordinate with design consultants to ensure CSA designs meet standards and codes.
- Review and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and field clarifications related to CSA.
- Monitor contractor performance for schedule, cost, and quality.
- Participate in site inspections, quality audits, and site walks.
- Support layout coordination for equipment, white space, and support areas.
- Assist in commissioning activities related to building envelope, structural readiness, and site infrastructure.
- Identify and mitigate design and constructability risks early.
- Validate pay applications and change order pricing for CSA packages.
- Assist in cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting for civil, structural, and architectural packages.
- Provide technical guidance to project engineers and coordinators.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in project engineering, construction management, or design management
- Strong knowledge of site development, structural systems, and building envelope design
- Ability to read, interpret, and coordinate construction drawings across multiple disciplines
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving mindset
