Job Description
The Account Validation Specialist at Samsara is responsible for identifying and qualifying high-potential new accounts in the US Mid-Market segment through data analysis, market research, and outreach, supporting the company's growth and expansion into new markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential new accounts not in the existing database using data analysis and market research
- Validate, clean, and map new account data in Salesforce, ensuring accurate classification and pipeline quality
- Engage with prospects through outreach and cold calling to qualify leads and identify hot opportunities
- Collaborate with sales leadership to provide feedback on lead quality and assist in strategic account allocation
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a sales or sales development role, with experience in cold calling and lead qualification.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Salesforce SFDC, particularly in account mapping, data cleaning, and administration.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to validate data, identify trends, and provide actionable feedback.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working closely with leadership or sales teams.
