Job Description

The Account Validation Specialist at Samsara is responsible for identifying, researching, and qualifying new high-potential mid-market accounts in the US, using data analysis and outreach to support sales growth and expand the company's customer ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential new accounts not in the existing database using data analysis and market research
  • Validate, clean, and map new account data in Salesforce to ensure pipeline quality
  • Engage with prospects through outreach and cold calling to qualify accounts and generate hot leads
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to provide feedback on lead quality and assist in strategic account allocation

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a sales or sales development role, with experience in cold calling and lead qualification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Salesforce SFDC, particularly in account mapping, data cleaning, and administration.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to validate data, identify trends, and provide actionable feedback.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working closely with leadership or sales teams.
